It seems like everyone is running an online business theses days. Working remotely, freelancing, teaching or tutoring online are all becoming nearly ubiquitous, and there are countless opportunities to create a job you love working from your laptop from anywhere in the world, as long as you have an internet connection.
It’s a beautiful opportunity, because now you can have your job set up before you move thousands of miles across the globe, and you can find clients anywhere, at any time. You can keep the same job. You don’t have to worry about moving all that way, only to realize that not speaking the local language or needing to network to get to know people before you can find local clients can put you at a serious disadvantage. You can literally work for anyone, anywhere in the world, at any time, day or night, as long as it fits your schedule – and your client’s timezone.
What you might not know, though, is that you can move to France while working for yourself, and even plan to stay long term, but you need to have a visa that enables you to work in a self-employed capacity.
If you DON’T currently have a visa that permits you to be self-employed in France (no visa at all, or any of these: visitor, student, APS, salarié, salarié en mission, travailleur temporaire, scientifique, carte bleue européenne), and you would like to set up a business or be self-employed in France, this program is for you. It guides you through the process of applying for the appropriate visa in your home country, or of switching your current visa status from within France to a type that will enable you to set up your business.
That’s where THE COMPLETE FRENCH BUSINESS INCUBATOR comes in.
For years, I’ve been helping individual small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to move their businesses to France, by helping them define their niche, set their prices, and put together rocking business plans for the French consulate to show their drive and determination to succeed as entrepreneurs abroad.
I designed the Complete French Business Incubator to help you take your unique skill set, add your desire for independence and an exotic life abroad, and throw in a touch of small business coaching so you can nail your visa application – and the business that will fund you creating your dream life.
It’s business coaching + visa coaching + an accountability and support group, on
steroids, er, red wine and macarons.
In this 9-week LIVE program, you will learn:
💜 How to create and start a successful location-independent business based on your unique skill set.
💜 Which visa type you need for each type of self-employment: profession libérale, commerçant, artisane, profession artistique, and passport talents – entrepreneur
💜 How to assemble a successful application for your visa or change of status application
💜 How to write a fantastic project proposal and business plan the préfecture or consulate will approve for a 12-month visa
💜 What types of supporting documentation you need for your application and how to write it
💜 How to figure out what to charge for your products or services based on materials, taxes, and competitors’ rates, calculate your fees and learn your “point mort” (break-even point), so you know exactly how much you need to sell or earn in order to be successful.
💜 How to complete realistic financial projections that meet the minimum requirements for successfully obtaining and renewing your chosen visa type.
💜 How to ensure you can renew your visa at the end of your first year in France – and maximize your chances of getting your visa renewed for 4 years (instead of just 1)
As part of this program, you will receive:
💜 9 group calls (5 group coaching calls and 4 workshops), from June 1 – July 31.
💜 2 in-depth and super useful workbooks (Business Blueprint and Business Plan Sections Workbook) to help you identify your skills and talents, dive deep into your business idea, get specific, and develop a unique business offering to wow the French consulate, launch your activity, and attract the right clients.
💜 Detailed instructions and guidance on how to write each part of your business plan, with samples and templates in French and English that come straight from successful business plans I’ve submitted on behalf of my clients applying for the Profession Libérale and Commerçant visas.
💜 Detailed instructions on how to estimate your costs and calculate your financial projections, along with an Excel spreadsheet to complete 3 years of financial projections for the visa. Just fill in your prices and estimated sales figures, and everything will calculate automatically.
💜 Bilingual (French-English) sample letters of support and templates to adapt and have filled out by your potential clients and collaborators
💜 Guidance on writing your application’s cover letter, including 3 sample cover letters in French for you to adapt and draw from while writing your own.
